Okanogan County, Washington's largest lies on the eastern slope of the Cascade Mountain Range. The Cascade Loop, one of the Northwest’s most scenic drives, passes through Okanogan County via Highway 20 over the mountains and Highway 97, which crosses into Canada near Oroville. The county seat is Okanogan. Just north of Okanogan is its sister city Omak, where apple orchards are its prime source of business.
