Last year we expanded our Systems group to help meet the demand for home wiring, audio, video, security and Internet technology services. We have since added journeymen electricians, customer service associates and established factory direct sources for the latest and greatest in technology hardware.

With an emphasis on the customer, Genext provides turnkey solutions including design and engineering services, product sourcing, installation, training, as well as continued customer support.

Bringing Security Technology To Our Community

Our commercial systems group secures several key customers with networked video systems and community-wide surveillance projects. These projects include digital video servers and cameras that automatically track movement in secure areas. The cameras switch from full color in the day to black and white for "Night-Vision". Genext also integrated the cameras into local and wide area computer networks for instant access to information.

Late last year, Genext Systems registered with an International Sourcing Company allowing direct access to industrial and commercial products from around the globe and at below wholesale prices. These advancements mean Quality & Value to our customers and are only the beginning of what is to come as 2003 continues to unfold!

Continuing Investments In Technology

Very few people have noticed that our Internet Networks are experiencing a tremendous load. While they are still operating within "Industry Standard" limits, we have noticed a slight delay when requesting email services. For those who have noticed, we thank you for your patience and are presently working on network upgrades.

In an effort to maintain the very best Internet Service at the most affordable price, Genext has issued purchase orders for the next generation of Internet network hardware. These networks upgrades range well into the thousands of dollars and will include entirely new web and email servers as well as the re-allocation of network services across our entire enterprise.

The email and web service upgrades will not affect your ability to log on to the Internet, nor will the upgrades affect our web hosting and co-location customers. The process is presently underway and will be completed by the end of February 2003.

There will be a slight interruption of email service during the final upgrade process and the Genext.NET website will be temporarily offline. Our support department will contact those customers who will be affected prior to the final conversion.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to un-veiling the latest and greatest Internet network Upgrade in the weeks to come.

Grant County Digital Video & Internet...
On One Bill

Last Fall, Genext Internet signed a deal with Northland Cable Television to provide combined Digital Television and High-Speed Internet Access to all Northland Cable Television Customers in Grant County, WA.

Currently Northland offers Genext Fiber, Dial-Up, Email and Web Hosting Services to numerous households and businesses and has entered into strategic contracts to deploy Cable Broadband Technology early this year.

Future Cable

We're on the cutting edge of technology! In December 2002, Genext utilized its expertise and resources wiring an entire family retreat in Lake Chelan, WA. The wiring system uses the "Star" method as described in our Home Wiring 101 Buyers Guide, however, it also incorporates advanced cabling infrastructure that includes two strands of Fiber Optic cable for the ultimate future proof home.

Because of our National Level Pricing and Strategic Partnerships, our client was able to receive the added benefit of fiber at no additional cost. In addition, we cut nearly $5000 off of his whole-house audio system by using an advanced data bus technology.

A Reminder About Late Fee Increase

We've had only a few comments about our new late fee schedule. For those who are new to our service or those who missed the announcement last month, our late fees and re-connection fees have increased to $10 and $20 respectively. (Read the Notice Here)

It's simple really. We are committed to providing the best service at the best price. In order to maintain this commitment, we must defer any additional costs of providing service to those responsible for them. If you pay your bill on time, we can pay our bills on time and everyone gets a great service at an affordable price. When you don't pay your bill on time, we are forced to run reports, send letters, make phone calls and we then must take from our profits to pay our bills. It's a cause and effect relationship. Therefore, if you do not pay your bills on time, we will charge you for the expenses we incur. You will still receive the same quality service; you'll just pay more.

For those who are unconcerned with this policy modification (those who pay on time), we thank you. It is customers like you who make our business a success and we sincerely appreciate your continued support.
