This month was yet another record month for Genext's Fiber Optic Internet Services. As the local Utilities work to deliver Fiber to every home, we continue to process new orders, as well as conversions from other ISP's everyday.

Spam Filtering & Virus Protection

SPAM continues to plague the Internet with a combination of SPAM Viruses and other malicious programs that can harm your computer. Not only are SPAM messages annoying, they cost our business significantly and waste a lot of valuable time.

Many people have inquired about filtering services to help reduce SPAM and E-Mail Viruses. While there are no 100% complete services, we are in preparation of implementing a set of services that will help to eliminate SPAM in your E-Mail Box.

Fiber Network Upgrades

Some of our Broadband Fiber customers have noticed an intermittent interruption of service over the past few days. Our Internet Technical Staff identified the issue immediately and has requisitioned new and improved equipment to address the current and future needs of this ever-expanding network.

Though beyond our control, we are appreciative of your understanding regarding the fiber network and thank you for your patience. Our driver, Brent Harris, takes 1st Place at the Apple Cup in Yakima last weekend. The pit crew completed the required tire swap and fueling in this 200 lap race only to be cut short by racing officials who goofed on the scoring.

While Harris Racing technically took first place by an entire lap, the lack of transponders and inaccurate scoring placed us 3rd. Genext and Harris Racing are contesting the admitted error, but no resolution has been proposed by track officials.
