HOLIDAY SEASON HERE ALREADY…

The days are growing shorter and a familiar chill has begun to accompany our nightfall. With Thanksgiving just days away, marking the start of another Holiday Season, many of us are just now starting to think about gift ideas for family and friends. Well, here's an idea…this year, why not give a gift that they'll love to get—one that will inform, educate and entertain throughout the New Year!

Give the gift of Genext Internet this holiday season, your family and friends will thank you (and mean it!). Check out our special gift packages for Dial-Up and High-Speed Internet. It makes a great stocking stuffer and is the perfect gift for family, friends and coworkers. Or wrap it up and give it to yourself and enjoy the extra Holiday Savings.

NEW RECORD FOR CUSTOMER REFERRALS

The close of 2002 is drawing near and we're marking the end of the year with record growth. We would like to thank each of our customers for the many referrals that were sent in. We are proud to say that over one-third of our growth has come from satisfied customers.

We have made it a commitment to provide quality services at an affordable price and wish to thank you for your support of our company. You can be assured that we will continue to offer the same level of service that you have come to expect from Genext in the past.

CONSTRUCTION IS STILL IN FULL GEAR

In the past couple of months, there has been over 5 million dollars worth of new construction submitted to local building departments and there are no indications that things are slowing down.

We've found that delivering the best results starts with proper planning—ideally beginning at the initial planning phase for both new construction and remodels. Genext can assist in making all of the systems work the way the designer or architect intended: heating and cooling, lighting control, security and life safety, networking, audio/video and much more.

So anyone who's planning for construction next spring or in the coming months, check out our all new "Guide To Home Wiring 101" and then contact Genext to get the job done right the first time.

THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG

In September this year, Genext, LLC and Northland Cable Television, Inc. inked a deal that will provide an alternative Broadband Technology to Moses Lake. The service will be available after the first of the year and will deliver highly sought-after High-Speed Internet Access to areas of Grant County that are currently without.

Soon to be announced are exciting new deals that combine all of your entertainment and information services into one affordable package.

Full details will be released in a formal press release following this newsletter and all current Genext customers will be eligible for a special offer.

To be put on our list for immediate release of information or to apply for service, please contact Scott Daniels.

EXPANDING SYSTEMS GROUP

With area fiber and other broadband projects expanding, there is an increasing demand for Home Security and Life Safety, Video Surveillance and Commercial Security, as well as Networking and Home Wiring solutions.

In last month's newsletter, we announced our membership with the Central Washington Home Builders Association and introduced Ken Clarke, a new team member dedicated to contractor services and system design.

Genext advocates wiring for future technology and has teamed up with manufactures of structured wiring systems to deliver the most cost effective solutions around. We have implemented special programs for Electrical Contractors, Builders and Distributors and have initiated technology-planning meetings with key developers in the region.

In addition, Genext will be hosting a Home Technology Seminar in connection with the Home Builders Association, Local Real Estate Offices and the Port Districts. The Seminar times and dates will be announced after the first of the year. The press release will include information on wiring practices, tips to save money and will introduce our strategy for improving quality of life and business opportunities through technology.

Thank you for your business and your continued support of our organization.

Respectfully,

Drew Zabrocki
President

GENEXT WELCOMES A NEW MEMBER

Scott Klaas, owner/operator of Spec-Grade Electric, has combined forces with Genext's Systems Group to broaden both companies' services.

Mr. Klaas has been working with Genext for several months now, and has recently accepted an offer to merge his operation with ours. A vetran in the electrical industry for over 9 years, Scott brings a wealth of experience in the electrical contracting field. His primary responsibilities include Administration of all system installations as well as project co-ordination with our Electrical and Tel/Data Contracting Partners.

The value of the transaction is confidential, however it did include ownership equity ("stock-swap") as well as a full-time position for Mr. Klaas as the Genext Systems Administrator. Business will proceed under the Genext Brand.

Genext's business model hasn't changed, we still utilize partner sourcing with Electrical Contractors, but the time has come for another senior technician dedicated to working with our partners and customers. Scott's experience allows him to see the project from all sides—he has a strong grasp on technology with practical experience in the installation of all types of electrical systems.

As an Electrical Contractor, Genext is licensed to perform all types of electrical work, from high voltage to networks and video systems. While we do not actively pursue high-voltage work, our licenses and experience allow us to work more closely with contractors and homeowners to get the job done right the first time.

Our electrical partners have the added benefit of working with someone who speaks their language and our customers realize the benefit of effective project planning and co-operation between sub-contractors.

You Can Be In Two Places At Once

Many companies have relied on traditional burglary systems for protection. Small businesses are now adding closed circuit television (CCTV) or video surveillance to supplement their existing security. Video surveillance not only enhances the burglary system, but adds many more advantages such as improving business operations and reducing shrinkage, which can ultimately lead to an increase in net profits.

Not only can RemoteView help small businesses save money, it can also help improve a business owner's quality of life. Many owners believe that their business operates more efficiently when they are present than when they are away. Because of this, they spend most of their time at work. With RemoteView, the owner can monitor operations from a remote location, thereby reducing the amount of time spent at the business.

RemoteView also offers:

  • Camera control that allows you to switch cameras from your computer.
  • The ability to monitor locations in near real time on demand.
  • A deterrent to employee theft, shoplifting and false accident reports.
  • Random monitoring of point-of-sale transactions.
  • Improved business operations by allowing you to observe spike times in business, poor service, or a procedure you need to change.
